When you create a Crooklyn ID, subscribe to a membership service, download a software update, contact us or participate in an online survey, we may collect a variety of information, contact preferences, zip codes and credit card information.

Demographic Information:
We may collect information about you for the purposes of surveys.

2. How Information We Collect Is Used

Non-Personally Identifiable Information (“Non-PII”):

May be used to measure the number of visits, average time spent on the Site and pages viewed as well as to diagnose problems with our servers and to administer the Site. We may then use this information to analyze and improve the features and functionality of this Site. In addition, we may share information with third parties that are not part of Crooklyn on an aggregate or other basis that does not disclose any of your PII (defined below).

In some instances, we may combine Non-PII with PII (such as embedding email addresses in cookies). 4. Collection of Information By Third Parties;

Payment Processor:

Crooklyn uses a third party payment processor (the “Payment Processor”) to bill members through a payment account linked a to member’s account. The processing of payments will be subject to the terms, conditions and privacy policies of the Payment Processor, in addition to this Agreement. Our current Payment Processor is PayPal, Inc. and member payments are processed by PayPal, Inc. in accordance with PayPal, Inc.’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Crooklyn does not control and is not liable for the security or performance of the Payment Processor. Members agree to pay us, through the Payment Processor, all charges at the prices then in effect for any purchase in accordance with the applicable payment terms. Members agree to make payment using the payment method member provides with member’s account.

Crooklyn reserves the right to correct, or to instruct our Payment Processor to correct, any errors or mistakes, even if payment has already been requested or received.



Third Party Links:

The Site may contain links to third-party Internet websites, which are not owned or operated by Crooklyn. We provide such links only as a convenience, and the inclusion of a link on the Site does not imply endorsement of the linked site by the Crooklyn. If you provide any PII through any such third-party website, your transaction will occur on such third party's website (not the Site) and the PII you provide will be collected by, and controlled by the privacy policy of, that third party. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such third-party websites, including such websites' use of any PII that you provide to them. While Crooklyn takes all appropriate steps to safeguard PII under our control, unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or method of storing data can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As such, we cannot guarantee that PII supplied by users will not be accessed on our servers, or intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet. We assume no liability for any damages you may suffer as a result of interception, alteration or misuse of information during such transfers.
